October 5, 2019 20:00 : Electroacoustic White Night

Electroacoustic White Night

On the night of 5-6 October, from 8pm until the early morning, the Project(ion) Room in Brussels will be vibrating to the sounds of electroacoustic music. The FeBeME-BeFEM (Belgian Federation of Electroacoustic Music) offers a programme of concerts entrusted to three different curators.
Elizabeth Anderson will spatialize a program of personal acousmatic works as well as pieces by students of composition at Arts²/Royal Conservatory of Mons. Find here the detailed program of her concert : Nuit_BL_concert1Program.
Still in acousmatic music, a second concert will associate classical figures of electroacoustic music (Ligeti, Varèse, Ferrari) with composers active in Belgium today (Ingrid Drese, Daniel Perez Hajdu). Daniel Perez Hajdu will spatialize this program chosen by him.
For the third concert, dedicated to live electronics, FeBeME called on the collective Fenêtre Ovale. This one proposes a program including Antoine Hubineau, Scaràbj (alias Manuel Viallet) and the duo HJM. All the concerts will take place on a loudspeaker orchestra installed by the FeBeME with the help of Halolalune.
