Not only the film world works, after shooting, in the studio. When the editing is finished, they present the final result to the audience, on the big screen and without the need for actors.
Many composers also create in the studio. They put their musical sensitivity into recording and sound research. After thoughtful editing, the final artistic work is recorded on an audio carrier. That audio carrier used to be a tape; now it is, for instance, a hard disk or a USB memory.
This final result will be played over 24 speakers in the room during BOEM 2022 in a spatialised manner.
