I/O is a set of compositions made by members of the FeBeME-BeFEM (Belgian Federation of Electroacoustic Music) on the « inside/outside » theme, most being world creations and presented online at a time when concerts are forbidden.
During this special period, composers haven’t stopped to create. All the music composed and assembled in this work are imbued with the idea of territory ; internal psychic territories or expanding towards the outside. These are motionless travels allowing the imagination to leave the studio’s boundaries towards sonic spaces of recovered freedom.
Through a journey over several short pieces, this participative work allows the listener to discover the multiple sensibilities of 11 composers joining in a common endeavour to share music with you. With works from: André Curieux, Stéphanie Laforce, Annette Vande Gorne, Raphaël Vens, Paul Adriaenssens, Daniel Perez Hajdu, Jean-Louis Poliart, Todor Todoroff, Dirk Veulemans, Donika Rudi, Kristof Lauwers.
