It has been eight years, since 2019, that the Belgian Federation for Electroacoustic Music has been organising concerts at the Glass Chapel in Fauquez; five years since we began holding a festival there, and four years since it has been known as ‘Reflets sonores’.
This year, FeBeME invites you once again to three evenings of exceptional sound creation in this heritage venue that retains its unique character. The Glass Chapel in Fauquez, entirely decorated with Marbrite glass, is a wonderful setting for listening and discovery. It invites you to enjoy special moments of connection between composers, performers and the audience, in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere.
The large loudspeaker orchestra, the acousmonium set up for the occasion, converses with the venue’s acoustics and will immerse you in a richly varied sound experience: electroacoustic and acousmatic music, modular synthesis and live electronics, including the duo Sfeer, from Roubaix, who are known for performing live compositions created specifically for the venues in which they perform..
We also invite you to explore sound installations, including one on display in the garden of La Chapelle de Verre, which complements a piece of goldsmithing on display in the showcases, as well as videos from performances at City Sonic 2026 Seoul.
